A DD-214, military ID, or veteran designation on your driver’s license confirms your service, and your VA records or existing medications help establish a qualifying diagnosis. In April of 2026, pursuant to President Trump’s Executive Order and an order issued by Acting U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche, the U.S. Department of Justice rescheduled state-licensed medical marijuana from Schedule I to Schedule III under the Controlled Substances Act, recognizing its medical use under applicable federal law.
